Puzzles, Paint and Play Today, the team visited Nakabango Primary School and Secondary School  before heading to Kawete. 12 of the students at Nakabango Secondary School are graduates of CCLS! The clinic was VERY busy at CCLS today but Dr. Craig found some time for a selfie: As we arrived at CCLS, we organized the sponsor packets and met with many, many more sponsors! These children are so beautiful! The Nursery students continued working on a fish mural and enjoyed new puzzles donated by CCLS-St. Louis families!!! They loved them!

Amadhi = Water and Other Words for Today: Jubilation, Musical, Joyful, Inspirational, Insightful, Grace Today, we worshipped with the community of Kawete under the tree in the school compound! Pastor Ken provided the message and participated in the service which included 9 Baptisms!!!! The Primary 7 students of CCLS will be sitting for their exams in early November.  Today we prayed for their preparations. At the conclusion of church, CCI presented the school with an entire suite of traditional instruments! It was amazing to see the students take an instrument and begin making music. God is good!

We've Got That Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy Down in Our Hearts... ...to stay!!! Today, after shopping for some needed medications and paint for a nursery mural, we made our way to the Kawete market. You can literally buy everything there  (it's a little like Wall-Mart!) Spices for all of your ailments and cooking needs... Baskets, gourds and more... Farmer's Market delight! Hand made baskets for carrying EVERYTHING! A GREAT TEAM! Walking from the market to CCLS-Uganda! The rest of our day was filled with greeting sponsor students and delivering sponsor packets. They wait so patiently as we talk with each one, take their picture and a video greeting to their sponsors. Sometimes, a sponsor is a team member!!!! The love of Jesus is present in everyone here. Thank you God for our partnership with this community and the Lutheran Church of Uganda!  ...

Cast Your Nets... What a wonderful day!!!! Of course...it's Uganda. Today, we started off after our morning devotion toward Kawete but stopped to purchase sugar cane to use as fishing poles for the Nursery Bible Study. Darla and the team shared the story of Jesus instructing the fishermen to fish from the other side of the boat. We did role play, sang a song (thanks Megan!) and decorated fish.  Between the three medical practitioners, 84 patients were served. What a blessing to visit with a widow and her children... Thank you God for a beautiful, blessed day! We look forward to serving again tomorrow!
